Phytomem One pros and cons: complaints, side effects and who should skip it
What are Phytomem One's pros and cons?
The pros: one tablet a day, saffron (the ingredient with the most human trials on memory), no stimulants according to the maker, and a 60-day money-back guarantee. The cons: no studies on Phytomem One itself, no Supplement Facts label with the amount of each ingredient, most ingredients were studied for blood sugar or weight rather than memory, and berberine can interact with medicines. On Oct 23, 2026 we found no BBB profile and no Trustpilot reviews for the official site.
Based on the maker's product page, its refund and shipping terms, and the public research linked in our full review. Complaint searches done on Oct 23, 2026. It is not medical advice. How we review
Phytomem One pros and cons at a glance
Pros

Cons
- No studies on Phytomem One itself

- No proof that any supplement removes microplastics from the brain
- Berberine is not for pregnancy or breastfeeding and may interact with medicines

The pros, explained
- A simple routine. One tablet a day with food, so a bottle of 30 lasts a month.
- Saffron. It is the ingredient here with the most human research on thinking. A 2020 review of randomised trials in people with mild cognitive impairment or dementia found better memory test scores than placebo, but the authors said there are too few high-quality studies to recommend it. The maker does not say how much saffron is inside, so we cannot compare it with those trials.
- Ceylon cinnamon. The NCCIH (National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health), part of the NIH (National Institutes of Health), says Ceylon cinnamon has only traces of coumarin, the compound in cassia cinnamon linked to liver problems. The same page says research does not clearly support cinnamon for any health condition.
- A clean list, per the maker. Stimulant-free, non-GMO and 100% natural, according to the maker. "Natural" does not mean free of side effects, as the safety section below shows.
- Room to try it. Every order has a 60-day money-back guarantee, counted from delivery, and the maker says it is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
All the sources are listed in our full review.
The cons, explained
- No studies on Phytomem One. The research is on single ingredients, often at doses the maker does not say it uses.
- Hidden amounts. The maker names 10 ingredients but publishes no Supplement Facts label, no amounts and no list of other ingredients. If you have allergies, you have to ask support before ordering.
- Studied for something else. Berberine, banaba, cinnamon, kudzu and Moro orange were mostly tested for blood sugar or weight, not memory. The NCCIH says direct evidence that supplements can prevent Alzheimer's disease or other dementias is lacking.
- The microplastics claim. A 2025 study in Nature Medicine found plastic particles in human brain tissue, but it did not test any supplement. We found no study showing that an ingredient here removes plastic from the brain.
- Interactions. The NIH says berberine can interact with medicines and should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Its most common side effects are digestive.
- Refund costs. You pay the return shipping, the refund is issued minus shipping fees, and items with obvious signs of use can get only a partial refund.
- Testimonials. The maker's own disclaimer says names were changed and visuals may be recreated or AI-assisted, so we do not treat the quotes as real reviews.
- Cost to try it. The smallest order is 2 bottles for $158 plus shipping from $9.95.
Phytomem One complaints: what we found
We looked for independent customer reviews and complaints on October 23, 2026:
- Better Business Bureau (BBB): a search for "phytomem one" returned no business profile, so there are no BBB ratings or complaints to report.
- Trustpilot: the search showed three profiles that use the name, each for a different website and each with 0 reviews. We found no profile for the official site.
No reviews does not mean no problems. It means we cannot tell you what real buyers think. We do not publish the testimonials on the maker's site, because we cannot verify them.
What usually goes wrong with an order like this, and how the maker's terms and the sources handle it:
| Possible problem | What the terms or sources say | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| "I do not notice anything yet." | Studies on saffron and fucoxanthin ran for 12 weeks or more, so a few days is too early to judge. | Write down 3 everyday things on day 1 and score them once a week. Decide by week 7 or 8. |
| "I want my money back." | The maker offers 60 days from delivery. Send back all the items you received to the returns address in the refund policy; support is support@phytomemone.com. | Keep the box and your emails. Mark day 50 on your calendar. |
| "The refund was smaller than I paid." | You pay the return shipping, the refund is issued minus shipping fees, and items with obvious signs of use can get only a partial refund. | Use a tracked service, keep the receipt and read the refund policy before you order. |
| "My stomach hurts." | Digestive upset is the most common side effect of berberine, according to the NIH. | Take it with food. If it does not settle, stop and ask your doctor. |
| "I take diabetes medicine." | Berberine, banaba and cinnamon have all been studied for lowering blood sugar, so together with medicine they could push it too low. | Ask your doctor first and check your blood sugar more often if you start. |
| "My dog ate a tablet." | The tablets contain xylitol, which the FDA warns can be deadly for dogs. | Call a veterinarian or a pet poison hotline at once. Keep the bottle closed and out of reach. |
Only on the official site: the 60-day guarantee, the bonus e-books and the multi-bottle discount.
Who should skip Phytomem One or ask a doctor first

- People who take diabetes medicine or other prescription medicines: ask your doctor or pharmacist first and show them the ingredient list.

- Anyone who wants to know the exact dose of everything they take: the maker does not publish it.
